- As per the American Kennel Club, the Siberian Husky is the 14th most popular breed out of 192.
- According to shelteranimalcounts.org, in 2018, 813 Siberian Huskies were euthanized in Louisiana alone.
- There needs to be a central place for rescues around the state to be homed.
- There is a need for a public facility to learn, interact and adopt Siberian huskies.
This sanctuary will be the future headquarters for Louisiana Husky Rescue and be the beacon of husky rescue in the south.
